Nive Manohar

I’m a physician, with a background in fine art and a curiosity about how we see and what we overlook. Art and medicine both ask me to pay close attention to people and the small details.

My work grows out of that attention, but leaves room for play. I experiment with images, materials, and processes, often following an observation somewhere unexpected. A walk, a passing expression, or a shift in light can be the beginning.
